Study On The Expressiveness Of Contemporary Chinese Ink Characters

Contemporary ink painting mainly focuses on the combination of inheritance and innovation,with figure painting as the starting point and forms the trend of contemporary expressional painting under the crisscross.From the vertical point of view the contemporary should inherit and carry forward the tradition.From the horizontal point of view the contemporary should combine the western aesthetic idea,which is a contemporary painting art that inherits the freehand brushwork of traditional painting and absorbs the western aesthetic thought.Under the influence of German Expressionism,Chinese contemporary ink figure painting gradually began to reexamine human nature and emphasize emotional catharsis.Although this has caused the contradiction between tradition and innovation since ancient times,it has promoted the contemporary ink figure painting to break through from the tradition and transform to the innovation type,advocating the innovation of the performance picture and emphasizing the expression of artistic emotion.In the early period of new China,the figure painting was mainly based on realism,recording facts with objective narrative techniques,without their own subjective consciousness expression,and the creation of figure painting had limitations.Later the painters reflected and summarized it,and launched the creation and research of the expressiveness of chinese ink characters in this paper.
