With the informatization of human life and economic globalization,English has become a basic ability of people today,and learning English has become a part of many people's lives.The mobile phone has become an indispensable tool for people because of fragmented learning,diversified information types,and portability.The use of mobile apps to learn English has become a trend.In the past,the English learning app developed the word recitation function in isolation,and the memorization of words was not efficient,and the understanding was not enough.The situational learning method of English original text reading is very suitable for the consolidation and learning of words,so a reasonable combination of original text reading and word recitation can effectively improve the efficiency and depth of English learning.At the same time,different words are used differently in actual exams and daily life,and their importance is different.Mastering as many important words as possible in a limited time is also a pain point that English learning apps need to solve.This thesis has carried out related research in the field of English learning and mobile learning.It has analyzed the advantages and disadvantages of mainstream English learning apps on the market by using literature research,survey comparison and other methods,and designed and developed this set of English learning apps on the basis of it.The system includes a complete front-end App and back-end server,which not only realizes the common functions of English learning apps such as word learning,word recitation,custom word lists,and vocabulary query,but also implements word frequency analysis,new word annotation reading,reading feedback,etc.Special feature.Through the development of the word frequency analysis function,the problem of students' recitation of word priorities is solved.Through the development of reading annotation and reading feedback function,the problem of learning situation is solved for users' vocabulary learning.Through reading feedback,the function of vocabulary recitation and situational learning is combined.Finally,this thesis developed an English learning app based on situational learning,word frequency analysis and other special functions,providing practical and efficient English learning services for the majority of English learners.
