The Republic of China period is an important period of historical change in modern China.The wave of revolutionary transformations that has been stirred up by the wind has caused people to change their thinking.They wiped out the old ideas of feudalism.A large number of female artists affected by the trend of liberation thought set a milestone for women's self-liberation with their independent and distinct creative attitude.In the society under the ancient feudal system of China,the gender order of males and females deprived females of the same rights as males and alienated them into silent aphasia.In the period of the Republic of China,economic and cultural development provided soil and opportunities for women's awakening.As a result,women's social status has undergone a qualitative change.The female painting art,which is based on the collective liberation of women,has also developed rapidly.The self-awareness of constant struggle with patriarchal culture is entrenched in it,using artistic language to express women's living conditions and life experiences under the new and old environment.For the women's art in this period,there are a lot of research achievements in the field of art history.Some scholars analyze the independence of women's art in the Republic of China from the perspective of feminism,and some experts explain the style characteristics of women's art in the Republic of China from case studies.These research results are of great significance to the understanding of the social status and individual artistic value of contemporary Chinese women.However,how to treat the painting art from the perspective of women in the Republic of China,that is,the painting art of female painters and the painting art with women as the subject,and comprehensively analyze and evaluate them are the main content of this article and research.This article first classifies three different types of female painters in the Republic of China,namely: 1." Boudoir" painters who inherited the traditional painting style.Most of them come from famous families or painting families,and they have a rare slack and independence in painting attitudes.These groups represent the wide awakening of female painters 'self-consciousness.Second,the new female artists who study Western modern art to transform traditional paintings are deeply influenced by the Western painting movement and their personal values and pursuits.Artistic and pure appeal,they traveled to other countries to study in Japan and Europe and the United States to explore Western art beyond traditional painting,and made an indelible contribution to the development of Chinese Western painting.Third,to drive social reform and speak for women as a painting driver Female artists who consciously plunged into the torrent of social liberation during the crisis of the country,took the pen as their halberd,and called for revolution,and their painting art existed to propagate and popularize the masses,and sought to establish their own value in the revolutionary struggle.From ancient times until today,the history of Chinese painting is brilliant,but it is difficult to find female painters.From the strict control of feudal etiquette to the first call for freedom and equality in the Republic of China,the wait of Chinese female painters finally ushered in a dawn.They innovate on the basis of inheriting the tradition,and present the feminine perspective of Chinese painting art with a gentleness and delicateness different from that of men.Secondly,this article studies the painting art with female images as subject matter during the Republic of China,that is,the month card and porcelain painting.Shanghai was an important commercial port of China in the 1930 s.Foreign capitalists regarded Shanghai as an important base for economic aggression.With the import of foreign goods,the subtle influence of the old Shanghai month brand beauty ads has developed rapidly.Month card uses the female image to tell about the social changes and spiritual civilization that have happened to Chinese women.It has completely pushed the weak and closed female image off the stage of painting art with lively and healthy new female standards.The emerging trend of Chinese and Western styles of art is also heating up in the porcelain industry.The development of the advertising posters of beautiful women in the month has undoubtedly influenced and penetrated the early porcelain painting of the Republic of China.The "Modern Girl" and "Little Feet" porcelain paintings of the Republic of China wrote about the image changes of women in the new era from deep boudoirs to society.The investigation of the female visual cultural form of porcelain painting helps to understand the women embedded in consumer fashion.The law of artistic development.Finally,this article analyzes and summarizes the cultural connotation of female images in the fine art works of the Republic of China,starting from the artistic influence and the existing shortcomings of women's painting in the Republic of China.This feminist image and perspective of women is a struggle and rebellion against traditional women's social status.In this era,women in the new era actively advocated a new life and strived for democratic rights.However,in a patriarchal society,Chinese women have been aphasia for a long time,and their voices for rights have been minimal.However,under the social background of patriarchal supremacy,Chinese women have been speechless for a long time,and their calls for rights are minimal.Irresistibly,the painting art based on the female perspective has injected a fresh blood into the modern Chinese painting world and social fashion,and its historical position cannot be ignored.
