| Painting from life is the most familiar creative means for every artist,and it is accompanied by the painting creation process of every artist..Artistic creation is to process the art of life,and paint from life is the starting point of subjectivity intervening objective artistic expression.Chinese figure painting developed and went into the 20 th century and that was when Xu Beihong introduced western “realism”thought into it,and strengthened Chinese painting modeling with western modeling methods,the introduction of western modeling made painting from life very important.Jiang zhaohe was a master of modern ink figure painting in the 20 th century.He holds the creative experience of "not imitating the ancients,not learning fashion,facing life and integrating Chinese and western",most of his works are completed by painting from life,especially his masterpiece The Refugee,which is a model of painting from life applied to creation.Ink figure painting has developing to now,painting from life is still an important stage of learning ink painting.How to deal with the relationship between painting from life and creation is an inevitable problem in our learning and creation of ink painting.This paper expounds the importance of painting from life to the creation of ink figure painting by analyzing the picture of The Refugee written by jiang zhaohe,in order to obtain useful theoretical factors to improve my artistic thoughts and enrich my creation practice.This paper summarizes and discusses the importance ofpainting from the following aspects: the definition of painting from life,the development of painting from life in Chinese and western art,the analysis of the creation process and technique of The Refugee,the important role of painting in the process of creation,and the significance of painting from life in the development of ink figure painting. |
