A Study On Qian Suyue,A Scholar In Eastern Zhejiang

Qian Suyue was a famous anti-Qing writer in eastern Zhejiang in the late Ming and early Qing dynasties.His deeds against the Qing were studied by many scholars,while his literary works were rarely discussed.This article makes a deep and systematic research on Qian Suyue's family life,poetry creation,prose creation and cultural influence.This article is divided into four chapters:The first chapter mainly examines the family and life of Qian Suyue.The Qian family moved to Yinxian in Ningbo,Zhejiang Province,from Xuancheng in southern Anhui Province.The family can be traced back to the Song Dynasty,while the founder ancestor in Ningbo started in the early Ming Dynasty.Thus formed the cultural characteristics of the Qian family: actively participate in the imperial examination to expand the family;loyalty and filial piety are the heritage of the family;literature works brought honor to the family.Qian Suyue died at the age of 42,and his all life can be divided into three stages: the period of studying at home,the period of participating in the imperial examinations and being an official,and the period of the struggle against the Qing.Qian Suyue's friendship was extensive.The target audience involved regional literati,official friends,and monks,most people in the first two categoriesThe second chapter is the study of Qian Suyue's poetry creation.Qian Suyue was born in a time of social turbulence.He has suffered multiple blows from family fragmentation and national demise.Although poetry creation is not the subject of his life,he has a more profound description and reflection of social reality and personal emotions.It can be divided into four parts: lamenting the sufferings of people's livelihood,chanting family and friendship,writing nostalgia for the homeland,and lamenting the life of the ups and downs.Qian Suyue's poetry creation also exhibits unique artistic characteristics: the first is the image of desolation,meaning sad moans;the second is the elegant language and the good use of allusions;the third is a variety of styles,deep and melancholy as the main styleThe third chapter is the study of Qian Suyue's prose creation.Qian Suyue's prose creation has various styles,and the three styles of “memorial to the throne" "praise" and "biography" are the most prominent and representative.The core content of memorial to the throne is to state his idea of repaying the country,and to put forward to the king of Lu on the anti-Qing and restoration of the country's proposals and strategies,in the arts show magnificent features.The praise is a kind of special style in Qian Suyue's proses.The style of praise includes picture praise,image praise and preface praise.On the whole,it presents a quaint artistic feature,with four-character sentence pattern as the main one and attaching importance to the rhyme of sentences.The number of biographies circulating to the present is very small,but they have certain historical document value and literary characteristics,so as to achieve the organic integration of historical authenticity and literary aesthetics.The Fourth Chapter is about the cultural influence of Qian Suyue.Taking the poems and articles in memory of Qian Suyue as samples,we can discuss the influence of Qian Suyue on the culture of people at that time and even later generations.First,from the perspective of time distribution,the authors of the commemorative texts concentrated from the late Ming Dynasty to the late Qing Dynasty,especially from the late Ming Dynasty to the early Qing Dynasty.From the perspective of regional distribution,they mainly concentrated in the two Zhejiang regions,especially in the eastern Zhejiang region,and at the same time radiated to Jiangsu and other nearby areas.From the social status,involved in all strata,there are scholars,officials,civilians,monks,scholars are the most.Secondly,the external influence of Qian Suyue's spirit is mainly manifested in two aspects,that is,the rearrangement of the text and the praise of the text.Finally,the intrinsic influence of Qian Suyue's spirit is shown as the honest and clean quality of being an official and the loyalty and unyielding integrity of being a person.
