With the continuous development and expansion of the world's cultural industry,cultural relics unearthed from all over the world,as the witness of historical civilization and the epitome of social development and progress for thousands of years,are gradually valued by the public and relevant departments.At the same time,the further popularization of 3D reconstruction technology provides a powerful tool for the permanent preservation of cultural relics,provides support for deeper data analysis of cultural relics,and fully improves the value of application research of cultural relics.The purpose of this project is to build a set of three-dimensional reconstruction scheme for the collection of cultural relics data,and establish a cultural relics data visualization system.Thus,the complete model of cultural relics can be stored digitally to the greatest extent,and the protection of cultural relics data can be realized.In the feature detection stage of 3D reconstruction technology,this paper uses a variety of point cloud feature matching algorithms,and extends the algorithm from the original two-dimensional form to three-dimensional space,and applies it to the actual point cloud data of cultural relics.According to the comparison of the results,the application scope of each algorithm is summed up,so that we can choose a more suitable feature matching scheme according to the characteristics of different cultural relics.In the registration phase of 3D reconstruction technology,this paper proposes a registration acceleration algorithm based on the nearest point of iteration.In order to solve the problems existing in the traditional algorithm,the algorithm uses the new defined objective function and the new point selection strategy to speed up the registration process.At the same time,the effectiveness of the improved algorithm is verified by using multiple sets of data,and it is applied to the actual cultural relics point cloud data to verify the superiority and robustness of the improved algorithm.In the surface reconstruction stage of 3D reconstruction technology,this paper mainly uses two different reconstruction algorithms,which are respectively suitable for the cultural relic data with simplified surface texture data and complex surface texture data.In view of the holes and fine lines in the three-dimensional model of cultural relics after reconstruction,a surface restoration scheme based on smooth processing and data resampling is proposed,so that the repaired cultural relics data can not only maintain the authenticity of history,but also reflect a certain aesthetic value.Based on the above research results of 3D reconstruction algorithm,this paper designs and implements a visualization system for point cloud data of cultural relics.The system can easily visualize the reconstruction results,intermediate results and various data of cultural relic point cloud,and interact with users.The experimental results of the cultural relic case model verify the efficiency of the system,and provide convenience for the promotion of cultural relic application research value and protection work.
