Writing is not only an important way for students to communicate with the outside world,but also an important standard to measure students' comprehensive language ability.However,there are many problems in English writing teaching at present.It is urgent to speed up the pace of writing teaching reform.In order to improve the phenomenon of separation of learning and using in English writing teaching,Professor Wen Qiufang proposed production-oriented approach,which is a teaching method tailored for Chinese foreign language learners.Although some existing researches in China have proved the effectiveness of production-oriented approach in College English writing teaching,there are few researches on its application in senior high school English writing teaching.In the information age,the deep change of society brings about the change of learning style.It will be an inevitable trend to integrate information technology with English writing teaching.Therefore,with the help of the information technology tools,this thesis applies production-oriented approach to senior high school English writing teaching and discusses the following two questions:(1)What is the impact of the application of production-oriented approach with the help of information technology on the quality of English writing(content,language,structure)of senior high school students?(2)Whether the application of production-oriented approach with the help of information technology can enhance the learning motivation of senior high school students and improve their learning enthusiasm?The author chose two parallel classes of senior two in a middle school in Harbin,Heilongjiang Province as the research object.One class is the experimental class,which adopted production-oriented approach with the help of information technology for writing teaching.The other class is the control class,which adopted the traditional teaching mode for writing teaching.The experiment duration was 16 weeks.The study carried out a method combining quantitative research and qualitative research.Through SPSS25.0 software,the author analyzed the scores of the students in the experimental class and the control class before and after the writing test.The author used thequantitative statistical method to analyze the composition texts of the students in the experimental class from the three dimensions of language,content and structure,and analyzed the teaching effect through questionnaire survey and interview.The results show that the application of production-oriented approach with the help of information technology can enhance students' learning motivation and enthusiasm,and effectively improve students' writing quality,which is embodied in content richness,language accuracy and complexity.Finally,the author puts forward some teaching suggestions and enlightenment on how to make better use of this teaching mode in the future classroom teaching.
