A Study On The Novels Of Women Writers In The New Period From The Perspective Of Modernity

Modernity is an important key word to explain all kinds of Chinese literary imagination in the academic circles since the new period,and it is also an extremely important issue for the literary cause of New China,including minority literature.Since the new period,the minority female writers have actively flocked to the literary world,and the novel creation reflects the value pursuit with modern vision.Through the interdisciplinary research methods of sociology,culturology,comparative literature and feminist criticism,this paper concludes that in the process of modernity,minority women writers in the new era uphold an open,mobile and pluralistic concept of modernity from national historical and cultural writing to women's individual writing.In the field of national culture,multi-directional interpretation not only shows the continuity of the spirit of enlightenment and the consciousness of rational trend,but also maintains the attitude of reflection on modernity,reveals the plight of existence brought about by modernity in the process of examination and query,searches for the lost humanistic rationality in the process of retrospect an,and actively absorbs and integrates other cultures to form multi-cultural identity;in the aspect of female individual writing,through the deconstruction of male authority and the construction of female myth,the discourse space of women is opened up,the special understanding of women's life is formed in speech and observation,and the independent personality of women is established in speculation and expectation.This article selects and analyzes the representative novels and works of 13 female writers such as Huo Da,Ye Guangqin,Ye Mei,Zhao Mei,Sa Na,He Xiaomei since the 1990 s,respectively from the modernity of national culture and the reflection of modernity,as well as the presentation of female subjectivity,and draws a conclusion that the understanding of modernity by female writers in the new era has gradually changed from single to diversified development.Female consciousness is obviously mature.From the pursuit of modernity to reflecting modernity,and then to the open psychology of pluralistic symbiosis,it reflects the wisdom choice of national survival and development;From the opening up of the national female discourse to the unique understanding of female life,and then to the establishment of independent personality of women,women have really gained the right to freedom of human subjectivity,and minority women's creation has embarked on a more modern road of development.
