A Study On The Evolution Of Porcelain Painting In Jingdezhen During The Early Period Of The People's Republic Of China(1949-1960)

This paper takes the evolution of Jingdezhen porcelain painting in the early days of the founding of the People's Republic of China as the research object,and the research time span is from 1949 to 1960.During time span,the evolution of Jingdezhen porcelain painting shows such a clue: during the three-year economic recovery period from 1949 to 1952,the style of Jingdezhen porcelain painting mainly inherited the tradition.From 1953 to 1957,during the First Five-Year Plan period,Jingdezhen porcelain painting changed slightly on the basis of continuation of tradition.This change is mainly reflected in the initial response of porcelain painting to the political movement.From 1958 to 1960,during the Great Leap Forward period,the creative principle of "ceramic art serving politics" and the expression of "combining realism and romanticism" have become the mainstream.Therefore,typical and symbolic ornamentation appeared and gradually formed a complete ornamentation system.After the Cultural Revolution began,the porcelain painting styles also basically followed this ornamentation system.The main body of this paper is divided into three parts: The first part summarizes the restoration of Jingdezhen porcelain industry from 1949 to 1952,and combs the theme content and expression form of Jingdezhen porcelain painting in this background,so as to reflect the inheritance and continuation of Jingdezhen porcelain painting to traditional ornamentation in this period;In the second part,the political,economic and cultural conditions of Jingdezhen from 1953 to 1957 are summarized in order to explain the background and reasons for the development of Jingdezhen porcelain painting.Secondly,it discusses the continuation of the tradition and the new development of porcelain painting in this period,focusing on analyzing the appearance of new imagine of porcelain painting The third part,through the analysis of the cultural connotation and evolution track of porcelain painting,thepoliticalization process of Jingdezhen porcelain from 1958 to 1959 is investigated,that is,the formation of realistic porcelain painting system under the restriction of national consciousness.
