Modern society is a highly landscaped society.In this social model,any landscape or figure becomes the object to be "seen",and the same is true of works of art.Since its birth,painting has the characteristics of being seen and conveyed by people.From the frescoes in the cave of khosla in ancient times to the modern art works,it contains these two characteristics.Compared with traditional works of art,concept has become the main form of artistic reflection,and the change and involvement of creative media have led to the emergence of new features in modern painting.However,ideological works of art are difficult to understand,and the most direct way for viewers to understand art works is how to watch them.Therefore,this paper interprets modern works from the perspective of viewing.The research method is mainly based on the author's main views and Chinese and foreign art works interspersed,mutual examples.This paper is divided into five chapters:The first chapter is the forerunner of the whole paper,and the background of "multiple viewing" is the main content.The second chapter mainly explains the viewer and artist in the perspective of "multiple viewing" in painting,and analyzes the mechanism of the generation of "multiple viewing" and draws the following conclusions: first,the unity of the viewer and the artist's perspective;Second,artists' recreation of image resources mainly aims at the creation of the concept of image producers.In chapter three,the author explains the line of sight,point of view and Angle of view in the mode of "multiple viewing",and analyzes and introduces the lens language.The appearance of lens language in painting is the inevitable result caused by viewing,because the lens ACTS as the viewing medium.The use of media makes paintings have the possibility of multiple views.Compared with previous paintings,modern and contemporary art works often have multiple views in the pictures,and the appreciation of works lies in the continuous superposition and transformation of subject and object.The fourth chapter mainly analyzes the main reasons for multiple viewing in painting: the superposition of multiple Spaces,the use of multiple narrative relationships between people and objects,and the reason why modern painting tends to be flat from the perspective of viewing.In the new schema relationship,the artist misappropriates and spliced the elements in the existing image,which is the extraction of the theme the artist wants to express,and the extracted image becomes a symbol.Modern and contemporary artists no longer express a copy of reality,but a concept.In this way,artists will take the initiative to select representative symbols in line with their own concepts.Therefore,the use of media makes paintings more and more planifiedChapter five is the author's summary of the whole paper and the prospect of the future research.The essence of "multiple viewing" is that the painting expresses the artist's idea."Multiple watch" in modern and contemporary painting is more than just appear many viewpoints in the painting,the use of medium especially the use of photographic camera lens to a modern and contemporary painting "see" and "watch" characteristics,because the view is the position of the viewer to watch,so regardless of the frame under the action of many viewpoints on camera eventually causes viewers and creators of overlap.The main reason for this effect is the use of multiple narrative chains and multiple spatial links.
