An Analysis Of The Characteristics Of The Buddhist Statues Of The Tang Dynasty In Shanxi

The expression form of ancient Chinese sculpture is full of the wisdom of creation of ancient Chinese craftsmen.It records not only the life and thought of ancient Chinese people,but also their thinking about the beauty of sculpture.This article mainly analyzes and discusses the characteristics of Buddhist sculptures in the Tang Dynasty in Shanxi.The overall statue of Shanxi sculptures in the Tang Dynasty was magnificent and exquisite,and both the image and the creative technique are very amazing and glamorous.Ancient Chinese plastic arts have a profound accumulation of traditional culture as well as their own artistic characteristics and expressions.However,the Buddhist sculptures in the Tang Dynasty in Shanxi have a more inter-temporal significance than those of other dynasties and other regions.This paper mainly discussed the control method of the sculpture language of Buddhist statues in the Tang Dynasty in Shanxi.It discusses what "control" is from multiple angles,and how to "control" the balance between various factors,so that the external form of the work can more reasonably and accurately show the author's inner feelings.The work can directly touch the viewer's deep inside accordingly.On the basis of previous studies,the article proposes thoughts on the language form of sculpture and enlightenment of personal creative practice in several aspects.First,the use and manifestation of the basic language of Buddhist sculptures in the Tang Dynasty in Shanxi respectively discuss the shape of the sculptures,the regular states presented in the space,and the use of modeling methods.Second,the trade-off that the language forms of Buddhist sculptures in the Tang Dynasty in Shanxi under the influence of different factors,such as its trade-off relationship between the whole and details in space and form.Thirdly,how to use this language form reasonably in the study of self-creation,and learn the inherent logic and ways of thinking in this language so as to help the formation of one's own unique creative language.The thesis mainly adopts several kinds of research methods.The first one is the induction method,which summarizes the state of the research object as a whole through typical cases.The second is the comparative analysis method,which compares the statues and research objects in the same space at different times and in different spaces at the same time.The third is the observation method.The research object can be directly analyzed through the combination of observation and the knowledge learned.The fourth is the literature analysis method.By searching for relevant literature,the research object can be comprehensively grasped.
