Velasco,a contemporary Italian artist's oil paintings on urban theme are ingenuous in their composition such as sorting out the levels of paintings and creating space by making use of the characteristics of oil painting pigments,combining vast thin color lumps with thick lines,and ornamenting thick blocks with thin dots;The paper takes pictures as example to analyze the realistic level of objects in pictures,the contrastive level of shape and color & the artistic effects created by the relationship between virtuality and reality.thin and thick,with thickness and thinness containing each other,so as to be extremely delicate.Large area of grey color tones and small area of complementary colors are used in combination: transmitting subjective feelings through showing visual effects with subjective colors.In the author's “Scene of Spacious Mansions” and exercises in painting,concrete elements are used to express emotions for cities: associating with abstract elements and enriching the language of pictures.Abstract shapes and colors make up “animate”organic forms.Stressing the density relationship between visual centers and corners;and realizing density relationship through the contrast of shapes and colors.Shapes and colors of the same type jump and appear in the pictures according to certain patterns to form the rhythm and levels of pictures.In order to make the pictures thick and intense,in analyzing the handling of coolness or warmth of color tones in large pictures,not only the general warmth relationship is studied,moreover,the warmth relationship in coldness and warmth is also another emphasis in research.While studying the visual effect of grand paintings,grey is taken as the main color tone,and bright colors are used on a small part: taking blue and purple as the main color tones in large area,complemented by orange and yellow.
