Research On Zen In Fachang's Flower And Bird Paintings

Zen painting is a new school of painting rising from the Five Dynasties to the two Song dynasties.The prevalence of Buddhism in the Southern Song Dynasty led to the great development of Zen painting and the close communication between culture and Zen.As one of the representative figures of Zen painting,Dharma is often used.Because of the interweaving of personal experience and historical factors,his identity is first a Zen monk,then a painter,and his creative idea is deeply influenced by Zen thought and beauty Under the influence of learning,the works contain infinite Zen.Fachang's works are different in painting language from the fine and delicate painting in the Academy,and from the literati's painting of free brush and grass without shape similarity.The uniqueness of his paintings lies in the artistic conception produced in the balance between ink and image.His works originated from his inner meditation.His techniques broke through the stereotypes and explored boldly.His pictures were far away from the real world and seemed ethereal.In this paper,the title of "analysis of Zen in Fachang flower and bird paintings" is to discuss the relationship between Zen thoughts and Fachang flower and bird paintings and the influence of Fachang flower and bird paintings on my personal creation.The article will be divided into three parts.The first part first combs the cultural background,the theme and the aesthetic character of Zen painting.Zen attaches great importance to the spiritual liberation of the individual,advocates that "self mind" is the Buddha,and pays attention to the subjectivity of the individual's heart.When we look at the external things of nature,Zen pays more attention to the inner sight,that is,the mood of nature.Zen painting has a wide range in the selection of theme and content.One flower and one leaf can be used as the expression of Zen meaning and become the inspiration source of enlightenment.The external faces in Zen paintings are simple and ethereal,with the mind and epiphany as the core of their thoughts,thus presenting the picture effect offree and easy,light and distant Zen paintings.In Zen painting,the core of its aesthetic exploration is mainly around the relationship between the mind and the object.Zen painting is the combination of the expression of mood,the pursuit of the original "emptiness" of Zen as the creative pursuit,the exploration of the aesthetic expression of mood,starting from the heart to the aesthetic interest,and finally to the artistic form,which has become the aesthetic character of Zen painting.The second part of the article is the main part of the article.It analyzes the flower and bird works of Fachang,including in the aspects of modeling,composition,painting and so on.From then on,it deconstructs the artistic characteristics and expression ways of his works,and sums up the artistic characteristics of Fachang flower and bird painting: first,the inner exploration of breaking through the ink form;second,the creation of light and distant painting environment;third,the simple and elegant aesthetic form.Fachang's paintings have a great influence on later flower and bird paintings,and also enrich the forms of expression of ink painting.In the third part,I will explore the problems I encounter in my creation and the artistic concept of FA Chang,such as the inspiration and thinking I give to myself in the process of creation in the way of composition and the use of ink.
