On Translating Feature Of Reportage Into Chinese From The Perspective Of Tenor Of Discourse

The Feature of Reportage has the style of portraying things from very specific and fine perspectives,thus having more readability and aesthetic value compared with hard news.Using diversified writing techniques,the feature has attitude resources from its writer.All of these characters provide approaches to understanding the social and cultural ecology in English-spoken countries.Register Theory is related to context and has effective interpretation of functional text.From Register Theory,context affects the practice of language.The recent researches mainly apply the Register analysis to the process of translation in fields of hard news,law,literature,economy and trade and etc.,and show the guiding function.But a few of existing researches focus on each one of the three varieties especially on the tenor of discourse.Since tenor reflects the style of both SL and TL and network language has updated characters with times,analyzing the source text from power,contact and involvement of tenor can guide the process of its translation.This paper applies the three varieties to the interpretation of source text and translation practice to find out how to achieve interpersonal function and equivalence of meaning and how the social and functional tenor leaves considerate problems for translation.This paper attempts to obtain the tenor equivalence in the translation practice in aspects of power,contact and involvement to achieve communicative intention and serves as reference in the future translation and research of reportage feature where these characters of the text type are magnified.
