Characteristics Of The Key Terms' English Translation In Xi Jinping:the Governance Of China ? And The Analysis From The Perspective Of Dynamic Cultural Translation

At present,the static concept of cultural translation has been receiving much attention.However,it is difficult to fairly and justly evaluate the dynamic changes as the changing times.Therefore,the thesis takes XI JINPING: The Governance of China ? as the study subject and guided by dynamic cultural translation to analyze how to make the translation better adapt to the changing of the Times,close to the readers and get their recognition and acceptance.Through studying XI JINPING: The Governance of China ?,about 377 key terms or phrases were selected at first based on the other political publicity texts(2012-2017),such as the Key Words to Understand China,which is published by the China International Publishing Group(CIPG)every year and the Report on the Work of Government and other political publicity texts.After making an analysis with the past translation versions,about 60 representative key terms which translation were obviously changed were reselected to show in this thesis.In addition,a small control group was built to make a comparison with these 60 key terms.The thesis will analyze the changes between different translation versions and the main translation methods from the perspective of dynamic cultural translation.Through the research and comparison,it is found that the political core words in XI JINPING: The Governance of China ? mainly use free translation and literal translation,followed by literal translation with annotation,omission and amplification.All these can means that translators pay more attention to the thinking habits and acceptability of the target readers with better adapting to the development and keeping pace with changing times to accurately convey the original meaning.At the same time,better preserving the style of source language.These characteristics can effectively realize the cultural equivalent translation of publicity political materials with Chinese characteristics.Under the perspective of dynamic cultural translation,translators need to fully consider the dynamic era background of source language and target language as well as the acceptance level of target readers in the process of translation,and flexibly choose the translation methods in line with the development of the times in combination with dynamic factors such as their own different translation purposes,which is conducive to the better orientation and integration of Chinese political publicity translation into the world.It is hoped that this study will be of some reference value to translators in dealing with the translation of words with Chinese characteristics in non-literary texts...
