The Solo Performance Of The "Song Of The Grasslands" By Contrabass

Taking the contrabass solo "Song of the Grasslands" with Mongolian music style as an example,this paper explains the relevance and uniqueness of contrabass and morin khuur playing techniques,and tries to interpret the musical expression with strong grassland music style from the perspectives of music development and fusion.The first chapter analyzes the creation background,musical structure and melodic form of the music,and recognizes the composer’s creation intention and the basic characteristics of the work..Additionally.combines theoretical knowledge and performing practice.The second chapter is based on the analysis of the music playing techniques,from several aspects in terms of decorative sound,kneading strings,beating range,different bow playing and processing.This chapter also analyzes the playing techniques of contrabass fusion in the Chinese style part of the music,which includes three characteristic parts: double tone,sliding sound and vibrato playing fusion.The third chapter combines the music learning process with the graduationcommencement performance practice,to induces the distinctive thinking of the author of the Mongolian style music played by the contrabass.
