A Study Of Autumnal Sentiment Poetry In Tang Dynasty

This paper systematically discusses the reasons of the rise,the development stages,the characteristics of imagery,the connotation of happiness and sadness of love,and cultural implication of autumnal sentiment poetry in Tang dynasty.The first chapter,“the overview of autumnal sentiment poetry in Tang dynasty”,discusses the reasons for the rise of autumnal sentiment poetry in tang dynasty from the following aspects: the characteristics of the Times,the atmosphere,the imperial examination experience,the characteristics of poetry of the Tang Dynasty.This chapter also discusses the four stages of emerging,rising,prosperity,and decline of poetry of the Tang Dynasty.The second chapter,"Love of autumn " and " mixed feelings of grief and joy" of autumnal sentiment poetry in Tang dynasty,analyzes the reasons for love of autumn from four aspects of beauty,banquet,leisure,and friendship,and discusses its aesthetic connotation.This chapter summarizes the poet's attitude towards life and ideological spirit as shown by the love of autumn: free,easy-going and optimistic,indifferent to fame and wealth.From the three aspects of life choice conflict,the contradiction between infinite time and limited life,and the beautiful autumn scenery causing homesickness,this paper expounds the reason and connotation of the coexistence of two emotions of autumnal sentiment poetry in Tang dynasty.The third chapter,"Images of autumnal sentiment poetry in Tang dynasty ",describes the specific expressions,functions,laws,and artistic features of these images in poems in terms of weather,plants,animals,and colors.The fourth chapter,"Cultural Implications of autumnal sentiment poetry in Tang dynasty ",expounds the regional cultural differences in the autumnal sentiment poetry from the aspects of scenery,theme,temperature,etc.;the Mid-Autumn Festival and the Double Ninth Festival elaborates the specific manifestations of the festival culture;It also explores the rich connotation of Buddhism and Taoism in the autumnal sentiment poetry in Tang dynasty.
