With the development of China,the communication between China and other countries in the world has become frequent and the number of overseas students in China has been increased.Cultural conflicts are inevitable in intercultural communication.Therefore,it is very necessary to select the content that is helpful for overseas students in China to learn intercultural communication.Furthermore,Korea currently has the largest number of overseas students studying in China,so the significance of carrying out cultural teaching for Korean students studying in China is obvious.By Schema theory and Cultural linguistics,this paper selects the folktale of The Cowherd and the Weaver Girl which has common legendary basis as the cultural teaching content for Korean students studying in China.This paper also conducts survey to understand the teaching objects and on the basis of the principles of selecting teaching contents such as the principle of pertinence,the principle of representativeness,the principle of times,the principle of interest,the principle of transform,and the principles of cultural teaching such as the principle of integration,the principle of consolidation,the principle of comparison,the principle of interest,the principle of intuition,determines the teaching methods such as comparative analysis method,argument analysis method,multimedia method,game activity method.This paper subsequently divides the specific teaching contents of The Cowherd and the Weaver Girl into two parts which are language teaching and cultural teaching and presents the teaching plans of three class hours.This teaching design is based on the common legendary basis,take advantage of and stimulate the background knowledge of Korean students.This is an attempt to design teaching practices that integrate culture teaching with language teaching,is aimed at helping Korean students studying in China to learn Chinese and comprehend Chinese culture.
