Research On Pension Problems In Contemporary China From The Perspective Of Caring Ethics

China has entered an aging society since the end of the 20 th century,and the growth rate of population aging ranks first in the world.It is predicted that by 2030,China will become the country with the highest degree of population aging in the world.With the deepening of the aging of the population,how to solve the problem of the elderly has become a major social problem in China.With the rapid development of China's economic level,the elderly can't fully develop in accordance with the traditional mode.We should pay more attention to the needs of the elderly in terms of spiritual and emotional aspects.Caring ethics emphasizes the emotion,relationship and mutual care between people,which is a very practical theory.To study the problem of providing for the aged in contemporary China from the perspective of caring can provide a new way to solve the ethical dilemma of providing for the aged in our country,and is conducive to improving the quality of life of the aged.This paper can be divided into four parts: the first part of the theory of care ethics from the western social crisis and the background of the feminist movement,the ideological origin of Feminist Care Ethics in two aspects.Secondly,it expounds the main contents of care ethics,including the meaning and type of care,the carer and the cared,the characteristics of care.Finally,it summarizes the practical value of care ethics,which lays a theoretical foundation for the application of care ethics theory in Contemporary Chinese pension issues.The second part defines the related content of the elderly and pension services.First of all,the object of pension: the elderly are defined and classified,and then the main types of pension services in China are sorted out.It also expounds the urgency of solving the problem of pension service.In the third part,it discusses the problems and causes of the contemporary Chinese pension from the perspective of care ethics.There are three main problems in China's old-age care: the lack of institutional care for the old-age security policy,the lack of care ability for social old-age institutions,and the lack of emotional and spiritual care for family old-age care.According to the complex background of social transformation,the lack of pension service training system and education,the change of family structure and pension concept,the reasons are analyzed.The fourth part discusses the practical application of caring ethics in solving the problem of providing for the aged in contemporary China.Firstly,it puts forward the main principles that should be followed in providing for the aged service from the perspective of caring ethics: caring principle,sympathy principle,respect principle and quality survival principle.Secondly,it gives the corresponding solutions from the perspective of care ethics,which are to improve the social pension security system and realize system care;to guide the social atmosphere of loving and respecting the elderly and improve the care quality of employees;to create a family atmosphere of respecting the elderly and attach great importance to material support and spiritual comfort;to encourage the elderly to care for themselves and promote mutual services for the elderly.We hope that through the application of the ethical theory of care,we can promote the healthy development of the elderly care service and improve the quality of life of the elderly.
