The Investigaion On Greetings Using Of The Aged

Regarding as the starting words, the greetings are indispensable in our daily communication. And it is very important. Appropriate use can pave the way for the beginning of the conversation or the smooth development of the conversation.The various types of greetings reflect people's different social contacting patterns. They are also the users' understanding about different interpersonal relationships. This article is an investigation on greetings using of the aged.In this paper,I first define what's the greeting.Then,from the semantic and language functional point of view,I sort corpus out seven types,they named as“Chenghu”(??)“Wenhou”(??)“Zhishu”(??)Jijing”(??)“Huhuanhuhan”(????)“Feiyanyutitai”(?????)“Fuhe”(??).I describe these types and get their using ranges and results.The next is about analysis of the results of questionnaires.Finally,I explore the reasons for the elderly to choose greetings.I get some meaningful conclusions from the statistics on questionnaires.For instance,the aged think we should greet others,especially our juniors.As a whole,the“Chenghu”(??)type is in common use,while the“Huhuanhuhuan”(????)type is less used.The greeting type of the aged is singleness,and most of the aged hold the original greeting habits.To an extent,the other side's sex rank or degree of relation influence the greeting type of the aged.The female aged use various greeting types,but the male aged prefer to the single.And when greeting to spouse and children,they make different choice..
