The Study Of Wang Shizhen's Artistic Thought

This paper studies the artistic thought of Wang Shizhen,a famous scholar in the middle and late Ming Dynasty,and discusses his artistic views in four fields:poetry,drama,calligraphy and painting,and garden.Wang Shizhen was a member of literati and scholar-officials in the middle and late Ming Dynasty.His artistic thought had both the effect of the times and the strong personal color.His thought was realistic and unique.On the basis of Wang Shizhen's works and related literature,this paper tries to deeply discuss Wang Shizhen's artistic creation and artistic appreciation activities and related problems.To interpret Wang Shizhen's creative thoughts and aesthetic thoughts on different arts.It is of great significance to explore the aesthetic appeal of the literati and officials represented by Wang Shizhen in the artistic activities and to reveal the cultural and artistic characteristics in the middle and late Ming Dynasty.Wang Shizhen's works in his life are of considerable quantity and high quality,covering a wide range of contents.He was the leader of the “After Seven” and his retro activities helped the “After Seven” promote the development of the whole literary world.At that time,he caused a great retro movement,which not only had a far-reaching impact on the direction of the later literary development,but also on scholars.Wang Shizhen's achievements lie not only in his influential literary thoughts,but also in his insights in painting,calligraphy,gardening,historiography and other fields.Wang Shizhen has a high degree of participation in artistic activities,such as writing a large number of works on culture and art,actively participating in appreciation gatherings of literati,personally participating in the design and construction of gardens,and so on.The introduction gives a brief overview of the existing research on Wang Shizhen's four kinds of art,and points out the significance of Wang Shizhen's artistic thought research.The first chapter briefly describes Wang Shizhen's life experience and achievements.The second chapter mainly analyses Wang Shizhen's views on poetry creation and appreciation.Wang Shizhen advocated that “literature must be Western Han Dynasty,poetry must be prosperous Tang”,and that poetry should pursue the retro style,elegant style,broad content and innovation.The third chapter mainly discusses Wang Shizhen's aesthetic concept of opera.Starting from the analysis of opera itself,Wang Shizhen thinks that excellent opera works can resonate with each other emotionally,and spoken parts should be simple and elegant.The fourth chapter mainly examines Wang Shizhen's art collection and appreciation of calligraphy and painting.Wang Shizhen's appreciation ability has been further exercised and improved in the process of imperceptible influence by the thought of restoring the ancients.The fifth chapter mainly analyses the concept of Wang Shizhen's garden art.Taking Wang Shizhen's Yishan Garden as an example,this paper analyzed that Wang Shizhen always pursued the elegant taste of ancient literati,and put all his emotional and aesthetic appeals into the construction of gardens.
