"New Pattern" brocade not only reflects formal language features of patterns of the late Tang Dynasty,but also shows the regular of change that people's aesthetic psychology for pattern in the Tang Dynasty behind the development of economic and cultural.At present,the elements of the "New Pattern" in the Tang Dynasty are numerous and meaningful,but they have gradually failed to meet the aesthetic needs of contemporary people because of their single form of propagation.So this thesis take recreation of the texture pattern as breakthrough point,using the principles of aesthetic psychology to study the aesthetic fashion of the "New Pattern" in the Tang Dynasty,aiming at making the perceptual positioning of contemporary recreated patterns consistent with rational judgments and to explore the recipe the "New Pattern" elements inherit the spirit of the times in the contemporary clothing pattern.Firstly,this thesis analyzes the "New Pattern" brocade and its fashion inheritance method in domestic and foreign literature.And on the basis of summarizing the historical records and summarizing the research results of the predecessors,the emergence,changes and characteristics of the "New Pattern" in the Tang Dynasty are sorted out.And the concept of aesthetic fashion is expounds as well as research its development law,which provides a theoretical basis for the study of the "New Pattern" aesthetic fashion.Secondly,this thesis analyzes the reasons of cultural origin of the "New Pattern" aesthetic fashion in the Tang Dynasty from three aspects: regional factors,social factors and religious factors.And it shows the reason why the "New Pattern" is still a fashion passed down for thousands of years,which lying on its unique geographical environment as well as the diversity of aesthetic fashion in economic and cultural exchanges and the inclusiveness of aesthetic fashion under the influence of religions such as Confucianism,Taoism and Buddhism.Based on this,deep excavation of the ancient and modern meanings and aesthetic differences of the "Buddha" clothing,seeking the re-creation of the lotus pattern elements in the "New Pattern" and its connection with contemporary aesthetic fashion,and finally,it is concluded that the means of traditional pattern must be respected in the process of contemporary pattern reconstruction and inheritance.Finally,this paper studies the value of the "New Pattern" aesthetic fashion in the Tang Dynasty,analyzes the ancient and modern meanings and aesthetic differences of the lotus pattern elements in the "New Pattern",and summarizes the three methods of contemporary products for the inheritance of the imitation of the brocade.Two methods of inheriting the meaning of "New Pattern",and "New Pattern" as a cultural symbol,with the help of digital deformation,upholding its traditional aesthetic significance,and applied to the design of contemporary clothing patterns.Strive to transform the "New Pattern" from "cultural symbols" into aesthetic symbols in the process of aesthetics,and finall?y make the re-creation patterns get the deep inheritance from from "shape" to "god" on the basis of meaning.This thesis summarizes the cultural origin and aesthetic value of the “New Pattern”,and constructs a "New Pattern" re-application based on contemporary aesthetic fashion,which provides a thinking of fashion inheritance method for the "New Pattern",and has certain reference value.
