Research On Ethical Issues Of Life Technology

With the continuous development of science and technology and the continuous progress of society,life technology emerges at the historic moment and has been developed.As we all know,science and technology have two sides,so does life technology.Its emergence has brought benefits to all mankind,promoted self-reproduction and family inheritance,promoted eugenics,and provided technical support for future medical research.But it also raises a host of ethical questions.The existing life technology mainly includes: artificial assisted reproduction technology,cloning technology,gene editing technology.In artificial assisted reproduction,surrogacy will impact the existing ethical relationship.These include the commercialization of surrogacy,the intricate relationship between children and surrogate mothers and the vagueness of rights and obligations arising from surrogacy.The misuse of sperm Banks also raises many ethical questions.The main problems are the commercialization of sperm,the improper use of sperm Banks can lead to inbreeding,the impact on the family and the "celebrity" sperm bank.The improper use of ivf will lead to a gender imbalance in the population and to some extent will harm the mother and fetus.The cloning of human cloning technology has been constantly controversial,although human cloning has not been achieved,but it becomes a reality will bring ethical problems to all aspects.There are mainly human cloning will damage human dignity,impact on traditional natural reproduction,challenge social ethical relations,but also cause the loss of genetic diversity.The emergence of gene editing technology has also been accompanied by many ethical issues,mainly including the fact that gene editing technology endangers the essence of human beings,causes gene discrimination,and breaks the rules of natural evolution.Meanwhile,the birth of "gene editing babies" will cause damage to their own health and may lead to social class differentiation.In order to make life technology better benefit mankind,we need to actively deal with the ethical problems brought by life technology and find solutions from its problems.Startingfrom ethical principles,laws,morals and control mechanisms,this paper explores the countermeasures to ethical issues of life technology.From ethical principles,follow the principles of justice,responsibility and autonomy.In terms of law,there are mainly to establish and improve laws and regulations related to life technology,strengthen the role of laws in regulating the development of life technology,and increase the legal penalties.In terms of morality,it is mainly to strengthen the moral education of scientific and technological workers and technology recipients,restrict the life technology with moral standards and correct values,and enhance the popularization of the ethical knowledge of life technology.From the perspective of the control mechanism,it mainly includes strengthening the management of life technology application institutions,strengthening the management of the use scope and objects of life technology,and strengthening the supervision of life technology by public opinion.Starting from these four aspects,this paper aims to reduce the ethical problems caused by life technology,make life technology develop reasonably,and ensure its realization for the benefit of mankind.
