In recent years,China has attached great importance to the development of cultural industry,raised the cultural industry to the level of national strategy and issued a series of policies to point out the direction for the development of China's cultural industry.At the same time,intra-industry trade is an important factor in the formation,upgrading and transformation of leading industries,and also a source of influencing international division of labor and promoting trade interests of all countries.Intra-industry trade in developed countries has become the mainstream,and it is also becoming a new pillar of foreign trade in developing countries.Studying the intra-industry trade of cultural products and its influencing factors can promote the development of cultural products in China,enhance the cultural influence of China,and promote the transformation of China into a powerful trading country.Based on UNCTAD's classification of cultural and creative products,this paper defines the two-way trade of the same category of cultural products as intra-industry trade,and measures the static and dynamic intra-industry trade level of cultural products represented by G-L index and Brülhart index,and the intra-industry trade structure represented by T&M index.Among them,the static G-L index shows that China's intra-industry trade level of cultural products is relatively low;the dynamic MIIT index shows that the increase of China's trade volume of cultural products is mostly caused by inter industry trade;the T &M index and GHM index of trade structure shows that China's intra industry trade of cultural products is mainly low-quality vertical type.On the whole,the level of intra industry trade of cultural products in China is relatively low,and the vertical trade structure dominated by quality differences.Then,based on the theory of intra industry trade and previous studies,this paper selects six factors: market size difference,per capita income level difference,foreign direct investment,cultural distance,economic freedom and the number of cultural industry institutions in China,and uses the panel Tobit model to conduct empirical research on the intra industry trade of cultural products in China.The results show that: the differences of market size and the number of cultural industry institutions have a significant positive impact on the trade in cultural industry,while the differences of per capita income and economic freedom have a significant negative impact,while the impact of foreign direct investment and cultural distance is not significant.Finally,on the basis of empirical research,combining with the status quo of intra-industry trade of cultural products,it is proposed to cultivate large-scale cultural enterprises and give play to the effect of economies of scale.Attach importance to economic development and improve China's per capita income level;Increase foreign direct investment and optimize investment quality;To formulate reasonable industrial policies to promote the upgrading of trade structure and other relevant policies and Suggestions to promote the development of intra-industry trade in China's cultural products.
