Colourfully And Dazzlingly Embellished-the Application Of Discolored Foil In Chinese Painting Creation

Metal foil is an excellent traditional painting material left by our ancestors,which has been used by painters since ancient times.This paper takes the metal foil material as the research object,explores its application in the traditional Chinese painting creation,emphatically explores how to apply the foil material reasonably to the painting creation,realizes the foil material beauty and the picture beauty unifies.This paper introduces the types of foil materials and their expression methods,the methods of foil sticking and foil changing one by one.Through the study of different kinds of foil materials,we can understand the color changes of different foil materials under different temperature conditions,and seek the metal foil materials that are most suitable for our own creative language.This paper summarizes the application of metal foil in religious frescoes,studies its expression techniques,and then extends to explore the development of modern and contemporary of ancient metal foil in modern and contemporary paintings.And select several representative artists and their works to analyze,explore the role of metal foil materials in the creation.In the end,it mainly focuses on my creative process,and discusses the inspiration and influence of metal foil materials on my creative process,as well as the use of some metal foil techniques in the creation.As an ancient painting material,metal foil is paid more and more attention by painters in modern and contemporary painting creation,and becomes an indispensable part of creation.It shows unique charm in the hands of painters,not only with the perfect combination of painting works,play the role of decorative embellishment,but also radiate new artistic vitality,add luster to painting works.
