The Spread And Development Of Chinese Painting Overseas

Traditional Chinese painting has a long history and splendid cultural heritage.Nowadays,in addition to inheriting the artistic spirit of traditional Chinese painting,it also records the information that traditional Chinese painting spreads and exchanges with other countries.From the perspective of communication,this paper explores the ways and forms of Chinese painting’s spread in Southeast Asia,combines historical facts and communication phenomena to make a comprehensive and macro-discussion,and makes in-depth thinking and exploration of overseas paintings,and analyzes the inevitable fact that Chinese paintings are going international.Art communication relies on different media.At this stage,interpersonal communication,mass communication and exhibition communication are used as basic channels for art communication.With the advancement of social science and technology,new media with the characteristics of digitization,fragmentation and sharing have emerged,and the ingenious fusion of new media and traditional media has become the general trend.Malaysia is the most influential country in Southeast Asia and has a good foundation of international relations with China.As one of the important shipping hubs in the "Silk Road" of Chinese history,Chinese painting was on this route in the process of artistic dissemination.It has a solid theoretical foundation and historical data basis.Exploring the spread of Chinese painting in Malaysia and forming a certain painting genre,continuing the classics of Chinese painting,innovating new painting styles,and forming a "Ink Painting" in Malaysia with a “Nanyang style”.
