As the continuous improvement of China's international status,the demand for the development of Chinese teaching in the world is increasingly expanding,and the number of overseas students coming to China to study for a master's degree in Teaching Chinese to Speakers of other Languages(TCSOL)also continues to increase In recent years,due to this major is in a critical period of vigorous development,the academic world has paid special attention to all aspects of the TCSOL,especially the cultivation of the students at home and abroad.But in the existed research,the concern to the academic dissertation is weak.For all graduate students,especially the overseas students,the composition of the academic dissertation is extremely important,and the thesis selection is the primary step in the process of paper writing,so the importance of thesis selection is self-evidentThe objective of this article is to study the master's thesis topic selection of overseas students majoring in TCSOL.Through the analysis of the 2015-2019 year master's thesis of overseas students maj oring in TCSOL from the the six colleges and universities in three provinces in Northeast China,including "Jilin University","Northeast Normal University","Heilongjiang University","Harbin Normal University","Liaoning University" and "Liaoning Normal University try to explore the factors influencing the topic selection of overseas students from various aspects and make relevant suggestions according to thisThis article is mainly divided into the following five chapters to research.The first chapter will roughly expound this article from "the reason of selection""significant of selection""research object" "research method" "research status".The second chapter mainly analyzes the status of the master's thesis of overseas students majoring in TCSOL,which including the general situation of the thesis,the nationalities of the scholars,the nationality analysis of the research object of the thesis,and the analysis of the paper form.The third chapter analyzes the topic selection of the thesis in detail.First,the "statistical analysis method" is used to sort the collected thesis.Then,it narrates from the two parts:"The classification of thesis topic selection direction" and "Analysis of the thesis topic selection direction",which is more intuitive and accurate.Chapter 4 will survey the master's thesis of overseas students majoring in TCSOL in the form of questionnaires to understand the factors that affect the selection of thesis topics then try to analyze and draw relevant conclusions.The last chapter is about suggestions for improving the topic selection of master's thesis of overseas students in TCSOL.It mainly puts forward effective suggestions and solutions from the aspects of cultivation institutes and the overseas students themselves.
