The Emotional Transmission Of The Body In Modern And Contemporary Art

Human body is the carrier of personal,social or historical emotions,and there are various forms of creation through which emotions are conveyed by the body.Under the influence of multiple artistic and historical factors,body theme creation does not stop functioning in terms of emotional communication,but plays a more continuous and stable role.The invention of the camera,Duchamp overturn the traditional definition of art,and the school of the expressionist painting,make the options of the creation ways which are related to bodily and figural subject unprecedentedly prosperous,such as the ways of creations of painting and sculpting which was used to adopt in the history,creations of the modern and contemporary photography and hyper-realism and so on.Obviously,modern and contemporary era is another flourishing period of the body bodily theme creations.Works of art with body image have a distinct effect on the function of emotional communication.Body and character themes are not only the common themes of artists in the long history of Western art,but are still favored by artists in the modern and contemporary art period with rich creative methods,so as to convey the inner feelings of these artists or the characters in the picture in a more profound way in artistic creation.This study adopts the methods of literature retrieval,analysis and comparison,and practice to explore what artistic works with body as the creation element can bring to artists in conveying human emotions in artistic creation.
