The purpose of this article is to explore the influence of the Southern Song Confucianism on the calligraphy of the Southern Song dynasty. The author believes that the Confucian philosophy of the South Song Confucianism is based on the concept of "sincerity","sincerity",and "sexual emotion." The "Shangyi Book Style" of the Northern Song Dynasty became a certain degree of containment. As a result, the Song dynasty calligraphy changed from focusing on "seeing me" in the Northern Song Dynasty to "seeing things" in the Southern Song Dynasty, changing from "owning oneself" to "noting another",completing the potential replacement of the core of "shangyi".On this basis, the Southern Song Dynasty's calligraphy-oriented emphasis on "Fa" was further transferred from the emphasis of "Fa" to the retro, forming a link with the comprehensive retro of the calligraphy of the Yuan Dynasty.
