Application Of 3D Printing Technology In Pop-Up Book Design

Specking about conventional paper pop-up books,the pages could be damaged and the book is easily broken after long-long uses,make it less valuable in reading and collection.If we apply 3D printing technology in designing a pop-up book for children,make it durable and easier to read and store,It can solve the problem of paper-based pop-up books,and the uniqueness of the design also attracts children's attention when telling the story of the red revolution.This research integrates technology and art,using new technology to design and produce a pop-up book about the story of the red revolution for Chinese children.In order to solve the problems of paper pop-up books.In this paper,3D printing technology is applied to the design and editing of pop-up books,redesign the internal connection structure of traditional pop-up books,replace the traditional paper material with polymer material,design pop-up books into toy books that can be assembled,Make reading and changing accessories as fun as assembling toys,Attract more children to read the story of the red revolution,using children's favorite pop-up books as the carrier to tell the story of the red revolution,Guide them to accept red culture education from childhood,Better inheritance of red gene.In order to study the application of 3D printing technology in the design and making of pop-up books,after a primary investigation,according to data collected from market investigation,along with a wide reference of theoretical analysis.Based on the theme of the beautiful story "Beautiful Western Rancap",The author decided to explore on producing pop-up books with 3D printing for her graduation project,a pop-up book with rich and vivid content,durable and easy to repair.Improve the interaction between children and parents.In addition,the lighting is introduced into the design,which adds the decoration of pop-up books.The author intends to explore and analyze possibleapproaches to combine more closely the designing ideas and productive methods with the support of new technologies,in order to provide a direction for future studies of relative aspects.
