According to the international social fund data statistics,China’s GDP ranked second in 2016,France ranked sixth,and the ranking is same as in the year of 2015.Economic and trade exchanges between two countries have an important influence in the world.Since establish diplomatic relation from 1964,China and France’s trading has increased at full speed.Bilateral trade volume has increased from $30 million before the establishment of diplomatic relations up to $50.5 billion in 2015.China is the world’s eighth largest export & import market in France,the largest export and import market in Asia.France is China’s fourth largest trading partner in the EU,the fourth largest source of investment and second countries attract capital.Comprehensive,wide-ranging and multi-level cooperation pattern has been formed between China and France in the energy,transportation,aerospace,agriculture,environmental protection and other Chinese economic priority areas have been or to achieve mutually beneficial cooperation.Looking forward to the future,the two paties cooperate well and have great potential for development.With increasingly frequent business cooperation between China and France,the conflicts between them have been gradually prominent.Among them,the main problem caused by is cultural differences.The two nations lack an adequate understanding of their social and cultural environment;the two sides often according to their own culture background to analysis & judge the information each other.The result is lot of misunderstanding and conflict happened;lack of understanding of each other’s culture and management,or both sides of each other on both sides;the degree of difficulty may arise in the cooperation do not have enough mental preparation,culture adaptation and cultural conflicts skills are just passable,and failed to establish mutual trust and understanding coordination mechanism.Moreover,in China’s highly implicit culture,the transfer of many messages is not a clear language.All these contradictions and conflicts arising from cultural differences are difficult to be properly resolved;the cooperation between China and France is difficult to carry out smoothly.Therefore,to achieve healthy development of Sino French cooperation,we must pay attention to cultural differences between each other,and take practical actions to solve the problem of cultural differences.In this paper,we will use classic Weiss theory.Based on his twelve cultural differences,which affect to negotiations variables,we can use Salacause’s ten aspects to analyze it one by one.An interview to China & French business people engaged in negotiations will be processed;the collected data of the mean and standard deviation in statistics analysis will sum up the difference between China and France negotiations in ten cultural factors.
