The chronicle of the academy records the contents relate to the academy, such as geography, history, lectures, management methods, sacrifices, etc.and which is very rich in value. The academies in Huizhou have prospered since the Song dynasty. They have been prosperous for a long time. The chronicle of the academy records the historical situation of the academy, and the academy records began to rise from the emergence of the academy. It gradually developed after the Ming dynasty.and is also like this in Huizhou.According to statistics, the number of academy records in Huizhou has always ranked first in Anhui, and the quality of compilations is also prominent and distinctive. There are only three academy records in the Qing dynasty in Huizhou nowadays: "Ziyang Academy Records","Huangu Academy Records" and "Dongshan Academy Records".The compilations of the three annals of the academy are relatively complete, especially Ziyang Academy Records and huangu Academy Records, which are of great value in the preservation of historical materials.By researching the three existing books of the Huizhou Academy of the Qing Dynasty, analyzing the reasons for the compilation, methods, historical sources, academic tendencies, etc, and summing up its value,we can get a general overview of the compilation of the Huizhou academy records in the Qing dynasty. As far as the history of the Huizhou academy of classics in the Qing dynasty was concerned, its compilation was not only influenced by the general environment at the time, but also some regional and personal factors.First of all,the vigorous development of academies is the basis of the chronicle of the academies.Ziyang academy,Huangu academy and Dongshan Academy all have a long history.Secondly,as a kind of local chronicle, the compilation of academy records was influenced by the Ming and Qing government's vigorous promotion of compiling annals. Many officials and scholars participated in compilation, which was the background at that time.In the end,the three academies of Huizhou are specific, and there are some personal factors of the editors, such as inheritance of will, inheritance of ethics, commendation of good deeds, and preservation of college materials. The compilation of the chronicles of academies also has certain style characteristics. The chronicles of academies in the Qing dynasty are generally composed of outline styles and flat styles.Genres include narratives, records, annals, biography, pictures, tables, and catalogue. The chronicles of Huizhou academies reflect these. The content of the compilation is not the same, and It has its own compiling features. At the same time,as the text recording the history of the academy, the compilation of the academy's history itself is closely related to the academy. The academy has left a lot of historical materials in the process of development. Therefore, the academy's historical sources at the time of compilation are very rich.Personal academic history books, anthologies, note novels, etc. It can be seen that although the annals of Huizhou academies were compiled by private individuals, they were similar to the local chronicles compiled by officials both in the style of comp ilation and in the selected historical materials. The compilation of the Huizhou Academy Records in the early Qing dynasty had the background of the renaissance of Neo-Confucianism.In addition, the author of the annals,Shi Huang, has personal academic tendency. These made the compilation of "Ziyang Academy Records" and "Huangu Academy Records" respect Zhu Xi and against Wang Yangming, and the "Dongshan Academy Records" compiled by Tang Zhi in the middle and late Qing dynasties,so It lacks a bit of Confucianism."Ziyang Academy Records","Huangu Academy Records" and "Dongshan Academy Records" are the representative academic records of Huizhou in the Qing dynasty. They both have important documentary value both in preserving historical materials and researching regional history of Huizhou.Through the study of the compilations of the three annals in the Qing dynasty, and using philology as the basic research method, taking societal culture history and local topography as the research theories and perspectives,we can investigate the compilation of the annals of academies in Huizhou in the Qing dynasty.
