Qupai is a very significant and special composing way in Chinese traditional music. It exists not only in literati music, religious music and court music, but also in folk music such as opera, quyi, instrumental music and song and dance.Qupai is deeply influenced by subjective and objective factors and has spread and evolved. It is of great significance for us to grasp the cultural connotation and style characteristics of Chinese traditional music as a whole to analyze the "similarity" and "difference" of the same tune after it has spread to different places, and to explore the basic rules and deep reasons of its "flow" and "change".Pu-an's Incantation this traditional Qupai is widely spread.Up to now,the documents and musical scores collected by the author can be verified. It not only exists in many versions of ancient musical scores and pipa scores, but also in many types of folk instrumental ensembles such as string string 13 sets,Jiangnan silk and bamboo,Jizhong sheng wind music,Fujian southern music,Chaozhou string poetry,Chaoyang flute set, etc. In addition,it is also one of the chants and performance of Buddhist and Taoist ritual music. What's more, unlike most traditional Qupai, which is only limited to Han music,Pu-an's Incantation is absorbed by Mongolian Sihu.To sum up,Pu-an's Incantation is a universal and special Qupai with "cross genre, cross region, cross class, cross religion and cross nationality".In order to study the flow and evolution of the Qupai, this thesis will first trace back the origin of the Pu-an's Incantation clarify the Chan master of Puan, the mantra of Puan, the belief of Puan and their far-reaching influence on the instrumental music of Puan mantra. Then the author makes a comparative analysis of the music forms of the 49 Pu-an's Incantation music scores collected by the author, summarizes and illustrates their general characteristics in music score, musical instrument, music structure, melody development method and mode type with examples. Then from the perspective of instrumental ensemble type, geographical distribution space, religious background, etc.,select the eight most representative music types of Pu-an's Incantation as a case, and analyze their respective changing laws and outstanding characteristics in music form, production background, historical origin, etc. Finally, the cultural significance of "flow" and "change" in "Pu-an's Incantation" is explained from the perspective of belief, culture, communication, folk custom and other disciplines. The Chan master Pu 'an's superb practice and compassion for all sentient beings not onlywon the love of the people, but also made the rulers of later generations deeply feel the value of his virtue and highly praise him.Under the social and cultural background of the confluence of Confucianism,Buddhism and Taoism, the Chan master Pu 'an integrated his Chan thoughts and created the Pu-an's Incantation to eliminate disasters and evil for the world. In the long history, the Pu-an's Incantation, which was originally a must-read mantra for Buddhism's "Chanmen Day Reciting",has gradually become instrumental.Through spontaneous dissemination among the public and official channels such as "Yongle Qinci Temple Song",it has been able to become a tune and spread to all parts of the country. With the joint efforts of literati musicians and folk musicians, the various forms of "Pu-an's Incantation" have given off brilliant humanistic light.
