A Brief Analysis Of The Artistic Characteristics Of Schubert’s Art Song "Song Of Suleika Ⅱ"

Based on Schubert’s art song "Song of Suleika Ⅱ" as a case study and through induction,literature research and experience summary,this paper analyzes the music ontology of the theoretical direction and research value significance of the artistic practice level.From the macro perspective to the micro perspective,this paper is divided into three levels:the first level,based on the political background and the characteristics of the times,showing the reasons of Goethe’s poetry creation and Schubert’s situation of composing,revealing the artistic connotation of the work;The second level,focusing on music analysis,analyzing the music characteristics of "Song of Suleika Ⅱ" from the aspects of plot structure and tonality,diversified piano accompaniment,melody and time value mode,etc;The third level,taking the above theoretical research as the auxiliary and foundation of practical singing,expounding the significance of the lyrics’ correct tone to singing,revealing the function of breath coordination and control,and the description skills of "physical state" and "human state" of timbre.Through the analysis of three levels,the works can be transformed from the single dimension description of literary characters to the two-dimensional description of literature and music,and then sublimated to the three-dimensional role building of literature,music and practice singing,so that the singers and audiences can understand the internal characteristics of the works in an all-round and three-dimensional way.This paper breaks the current situation that there are no journals and master papers about the study of "Song of Suleika Ⅱ"in China.It aims to study the artistic characteristics of Schubert’s rare works,stimulate the researchers’ in-depth analysis and interpretation of art songs,and summarize the practical application of vocal singing skills in art songs,which will help the singers better master the connotation characteristics and singing style of German Olympic Art Songs Lattice.
