Cultivating students' creative spirit and developing their creativity is one of the significant goals of contemporary education.Under the teaching system of China,the cultivation of students' creativity generally relies on the class.Reading style will affect the information activation and information processing quality,which affects the subsequent related problems.However,the extent of these impacts are not clear.Oral reading together,free oral reading and silent reading are commonly used in teachers' reading teaching,and they have different cognitive loads on students' reading.Based on the cognitive load theory,this research discusses the influence of various reading styles on students' creativity.The three specific researches are as follows.The participants of Research I are 133 students from three classes in Grade 3 in a primary school from Jining city,Shandong Province.This research uses 3(oral reading together,free oral reading and silent reading)single factor and between-subjects design,focuses on whether different reading styles have different impacts on creative tasks.The results shows that,(1)For a multi-solution mathematical application problems,the performance of creativity in silent reading is best.(2)The performance of free oral reading in essay story is best.(3)For vocabulary and story generation,the performance of oral reading together is best.Research ? selects 163 students from six classes in Grade 3 in a primary school as subjects.3(oral reading together,free oral reading and silent reading)× 2(high and low element interactivity)between-subjects design is adopted,which aims to explore the influence of reading styles on creativity under the moderating effect of element interactivity.The results show that,Treat Chinese creativity fluency as the dependent variable,(1)When reading freely,the performance of creativity under low element interactivity is higher than that of high element interactivity.(2)Under high element interactivity,the performance of silent reading is significantly higher than that of free oral reading performance.(3)Under low element interactivity,the performance of silent reading is lower than that of free oral reading.Treat language creativity flexibility and originality as dependent variables respectively,(1)When reading freely,the performance under low element interactivity is higher than that under high element interactivity.(2)Under high element interactivity,the performance of silent reading is significantly higher than free oral reading performance.As for mathematical creativity,there is no significant difference in fluency,flexibility and originality.Research ? chooses another mathematical application problems,and divides the element interactivity of materials into three degrees,which includes low,medium and high.367 students from nine classes in Grade 3 are selected as subjects.3(high element interactivity,medium element interactivity and low element interactivity)x3(silent reading,free oral reading,oral reading together)are designed among the participants,which increases the answer time.And based on this,the interaction between element interactivity of materials and reading styles in solving the mathematical application problems is further explored.The results are as follows,When treat the fluency of math problems as dependent variable,(1)Under the silent reading and free oral reading conditions,the performance of low element interactivity is higher than that of middle and high element interactivity.(2)Under low element interactivity conditions,silent reading performance is higher than oral reading together performance,free oral reading is higher than oral reading together performance.(3)Under medium element interactivity and high element interactivity conditions,silent reading performance is lower than free reading performance and the performance of oral reading together.When treat the flexibility of mathematics problems as dependent variable,(1)Under silent reading and free oral reading conditions,the performance of low element interactivity is higher than that of middle and high element Interactivity.(2)Under the conditions of low element interactivity,the performance of silent reading and free oral reading is higher than that of oral reading together.(3)Under the conditions of medium element interactivity and high element interactivity,the performance of silent reading is lower than the performance of free oral reading and oral reading together.When treat the originality of mathematical application questions as the dependent variable,(1)Under the condition of silent reading,the performance of high element interactivity is lower than that of low and medium element interactivity.(2)Under the condition of high element interactivity,the performance of silent reading is lower than that of free reading performance and the performance of oral reading together.After the three researches,the conclusions are as follows,1.Mathematics application problems performed best in silent reading.The performance of free oral reading in essay story is best.For vocabulary and story generation,the performance of oral reading together is best.2.The lower the degree of element interactivity,the better the performance in solving the subsequent creative problems.3.The element interactivity of materials and reading styles have interactive influence on creativity.4.For mathematics application problems,under low element interactivity,silent reading and free oral reading can help to solve the following creative problems.
