The 19 th century is regarded as the most prosperous period in the history of piano art in Europe. With the unremitting efforts of piano musicians, the piano performance technology and emotional expression at this time have changed qualitatively from the accumulation of quantity. This kind of change is not only caused by the hard work of piano musicians. In order to understand the relationship between music and society or humanity in the 19 th century in a more macroscopic way,the author chooses the structuralist perspective as a new research method to sort out the existing historical records and try to describe the relationship clearly. The paper is divided into three parts: introduction, text and conclusion. The first part is the introduction, which mainly discusses the research significance, current situation and research methods of this topic. The second part is the main body part, which will discuss and analyze the development process of European Piano Music Performance Technology in the 19 th century from three chapters. The first chapter defines the scope of "piano playing technology" more precisely, and introduces the historical evolution of piano playing technology before the 19 th century, which can be traced back to the source and supported by evidence;the second chapter analyzes the current situation of piano playing technology in Europe in the 19 th century from the perspective of music noumenon;the third chapter based on the perspective of social system and aesthetic concept,on the one hand,it explores the social environmental factors of the changes of European Piano Performance Technology through the changes of European piano composer identity, piano manufacturing industry and concert institution; On the other hand,it attempts to trace the changes of piano playing technology from the changes of external factors by making a detailed analysis of a series of aesthetic concepts, such as the trend of European art,the changes of the audience's interest and the performer's view of performance. The third part is the conclusion part.Through the historical analysis of the three structural systems in the text, this part makes a comprehensive summary of the development and evolution of the piano playing technology in Europe in the 19 th century, and tries to clarify the detailed and close relationship between the music noumenon, social environment and humanistic thought.
