Schubert was one of the representatives of early Romantic music and was considered the last great master of classical music. His music is simple, natural aesthetic,so some people describe his music as flowing out of the heart, sincere and meaningful feelings.During his short 31-year life,Schubert wrote more than a thousand pieces of music, the most famous of which was his artistic songs.Yet Schubert's talent is not limited to the creation of artistic songs;his 21 piano sonatas also shine.Schubert lived in the era of classicism and romanticism, and his piano sonatas were well embodied With the evolution of these two styles,he can feel the inheritance and development of classicism and the positive exploration of romanticism. This "C minor piano sonata D958" is a mature work of Schubert's later life, not only with Beethoven-style heroism, but also with Schubert's own unique lyricism. This paper mainly expounds the whole article from Schubert's creative background, style characteristics, style analysis and playing skills analysis. The first chapter starts from the background of Schubert's life and briefly understands his life. The second chapter focuses on the music of the first movement to explore the music of Schubert style. The third chapter analyzes the playing technique of this sonata from its playing technique and difficulty.
