In recent years,the frequent cases of minors suspected of crimes have been exposed.How to correct them and how to make them better return to society has become an urgent problem for social workers to explore.Juveniles involved in crime are immature in mind and lack of emotional cognition,which will lead to inferiority,irritability,guilt and other bad emotions.How to use the group work method of social work to effectively intervene in the emotional management of minors involved in crime is worth exploring.The purpose of this study is to carry out the practical research on the emotion management group of the help and education objects of J institution.Through the change of the emotional state and the improvement of the emotional cognitive ability of the group members before and after the group activities,to evaluate the service effect of the improvement of the emotional management ability,and to explore the skills and Strategies of the small group work in the emotional management of the criminal minors.This study is based on J social work agency commissioned by the procuratorate to carry out social investigation and help education for minors involved in crime.According to the social investigation report,the author found that the minors involved in the crime had unstable emotional state and low knowledge of emotional management.Combined with the ABC theory and group work method of rational emotional therapy mode,according to the literature research and practical needs,referring to Albert Ellis's"dismantle your emotional landmine" and Guy Winch's "emotional first aid" for improving the ability of emotional management,nine minors with high homogeneity were recruited as service objects to intervene and develop group activities In the plan,six group activities were carried out to sort out the positive role of group work in the emotional management of minors involved in crime,so as to provide relevant experience and reference for group work involved in emotional management of minors involved in crime.In terms of evaluation methods,the author adopts two methods:process evaluation and effectiveness evaluation.The process evaluation mainly evaluates the group activity scheme setting,group members' performance and social workers' performance;the effectiveness evaluation adopts the PANAS emotional scale for group pre-test and group activity satisfaction scale for measurement,and combines the semi-structured interview to monitor the effect of the group.The results show that the group work has a significant effect on improving the emotional management of juvenile delinquents.After the end of the group,the score of PANAS emotional scale was improved,and the theory of emotional ABC was more easily understood and applied by the minors involved in the crime;the participants believed that learning emotional management was very helpful to deal with the emotional problems they met in life,which could help them avoid committing crimes again,and the group life could achieve certain results.
