Autobiographical memory is the individual memory about events related personal experience in everyday life,it has important influence on the individual's self-formation and personality development.The study of autobiographical memory can not only recognize and understand the memory characteristics of individuals,but also help people to further deepen their understanding of their own psychological state and personality characteristics.Self-esteem,as the core of self system,has a certain degree of interaction with autobiographical memory.In this study,a new method of autobiographical memory measurement was used to explore the characteristics of autobiographical memory of individuals with different self-esteem levels in different emotional states.It is hoped that this study can enrich the empirical study on the characteristics of autobiographical memory in normal population and enrich the research materials of autobiographical memory.At the same time,this study investigated the influence of different emotional states on the autobiographical memory of individuals with different self-esteem,hoping to supplement the research content in this field.Three studies were designed in this article: In study 1,A total of 469 questionnaires were collected to test the reliability and validity of the translated version of MEQ-SF(each questionnaire included the Resonberg self-esteem scale and the Chinese version of MEQ-SF),and the differences in the characteristics of autobiographical memory of individuals with different self-esteem levels under the medium emotions were explored.Study 2 explored the differences in autobiographical memory characteristics of individuals with high and low self-esteem induced by positive emotions.Study 3 explored the differences in autobiographical memory characteristics of individuals with high and low self-esteem induced by negative emotions.The results show that: 1.The reliability and validity test of the Chinese version of meq-sf is qualified,and the scale can be used as an effective tool to measure the characteristics of autobiographical memory;2.Under the moderate emotional state,the higher the level of self-esteem,the more inclined to recall from the first-person perspective,content more vivid memories coherent,time and perception of event details recall of more specific and clear,and easier to recall,at the same time,individual recall a higher proportion of positive events with the smaller the psychological distance between oneself and the recalled events;3.After the induction of positive emotions,individuals with high and low self-esteem tend to recall "events" composed of multiple fragments and experiences rather than logical events in specific time and place.Meanwhile,individuals with high self-esteem significantly reduce their emotional intensity;4.After the induction of negative emotions,individuals with high self-esteem remember the time of the event more clearly,and the psychologically distance themselves from the recalled events is also smaller,while the emotional intensity of the individuals with low self-esteem is significantly increased...
