Giorgio de Chirico(1888-1978)was one of the founders of the Italian metaphysical school.His learning and life experience has been varied.He has traveled to various places in the country,so that his creative style will Along with his life experience,major changes have taken place,from academic studies to the initiation of metaphysical art,from concrete to abstract,and various schema changes.The selection of creative themes and elements is all-encompassing,but the two qualities shown in his paintings:mystery and melancholy,it are immutable.And personal feelings are also obvious.Presented in most of his paintings.This article will take a more representative period of time to conduct research,that is,his early metaphysical painting period.By combing the development of such traits in art history,the mysterious tradition of European painting and the evaluation and proof materials of Chirico by critics of art history,and carrying out a large number of graphical analysis and comparison,to explore his early metaphysical painting These two characteristics of the two,as well as the influence on the Dada and Surrealist schools of the later generations and the inheritance and development of the metaphysical artists by later artists.
