The 19 th century was a special period, alternated in classism and romanticism.During this time,Ludwig van Beethoven and Franz Schubert composed F Minor Piano Sonata Op.57 and A Major Piano Sonata D664,respectively.Since the differences in musical styles between these two piano works, the same playing skills should be flexibly used in performance.Using literature analysis, comparative method, and practical approach, taking the playing effects of two works as the starting point, researching differences between musical styles, this paper studies the heroism, lyricism, fantasy, drama, and singing to clarify the context of the musical styles of these two piano works.Through the analysis of performance speed, rhythm, dynamics and timbre tunning in different playing versions, combining with the practice of playing, this paper proposes the flexible application of playing techniques of hidden melodic lines, fast playing of sixteenth notes,skip-ping playing, ferris wheel, and grace notes in different works. The aim of this paper is to help players achieve an accurate grasp of the music styles of chosen piano works.
