Gonghui Hakka dialect includes two branches:Hepo Hakka and Changle Hakka.The total population of the two groups exceeds 70% of the total population of the town.Gonghui is the most concentrated area of Hakka in Hezhou City.According to historical records,Guangdong Jiexi Hakka and Guangdong Wuhua Hakka have immigrated to Gonghui from the Qing Dynasty.There are few studies on Gonghui Hakka at present,especially Gonghui Changle Hakka.On the basis of field investigation and references,this paper Summarizes the phonetic systems of Gonghui Hepo Hakka and Changle Hakka and analyses the phonetic differences between Gonghui Hakka and its ancestors.Meanwhile,it aims to elaborate phonetic evolution of three generations.This paper consists of five chapters,arriving at the following conclusions:1.Gonghui Hakka has 22 consonants(excluding zero initial),48 finals,including 2 syllables(Changle Hakka has 49 finals),and 6 tones.2.Compared to its antecedent dialects,Gonghui Hakka has more similarities than differences,which embodying tongue voiced fricative,main vowel in some initials and classification of tones.3.There are 3 aspects showing the changing phonetic transformation between three generations: existence of nasal endings of [-m?-p],which has transformed to nasal endings of [-n?-t] between youngsters;weakening of friction and voiced elements of voiced fricative [v] and [(?)] from generation to generation,which tending to be vowel-like [u] and [i].existence of labal velar consonants of [kw] and [kw(?)],which has lost its [w] elements between youths without tending to be vowel-like [u].
