Study On The Phonology Of Hakka Dialects In Meizhou

The Hakka dialects is one of seven main Chinese dialects. The Hakka dialects in Meizhou is regarded as the representative of Hakka dialects by most scholars. Based on displaying the general features of phonology of Hakka dialects in Meizhou and through comparing and analyzing the differences of phonology of Hakka dialects in Meizhou, the thesis would explore the development and evolution rules of the phonology of Hakka dialects in Meizhou historically.
