On The Performing Art Of Erhu Quartet

String quartet,as the name implies,is "a chamber music form composed of four stringed instruments".It contains two violins,a viola and a cello.It is the main and most popular type of chamber music at present.The performance form of string quartet in the west has been deeply rooted in people's hearts.The quartet of huqin is named after the free combination of three kinds of huqin instruments: gaohu,erhu and zhonghu.The quartet of huqin is a very severe test for the performer due to its close timbre,communication of coordination and rigorous structure,and the rich artistic connotation of the music can be expressed through its exquisite performance skills and perfect ensemble.Bowstring dance is a representative ensemble work tailored for the four huqin by Mr.Li bochan.The composer skillfully blends different musical elements and cultural connotations of China and the west,resulting in the collision of Chinese rap music and western jazz,and the blend of traditional Chinese culture and western popular elements in the whole musical work.
