This paper mainly analyzes the artistic characteristics and performance techniques of An-lun Huang's solo piano work "Toccata,Chorale and Fugue in d minor" Op68,No.1.The article is divided into three chapters: the first is the biography of Mr.Huang and the creation background of this work.The second is the artistic characteristics of the work,including the use of Bach elements,the use of Chinese national elements.The last chapter will analyze the playing techniques of the three parts one by one,including clauses,strength,speed,touch key and pedal.Each section has a technical focus.Through the above analysis,it can be seen that An-lun Huang chose this genre and theme to express his admiration for the father of western music--J.S.Bach.It can also be seen that Huang's view of music--belonging,romantic,melodic,the combination of the nation and the world "Chinese feeling".More importantly,it enriches the repertoire of polyphony music in China,leaving precious wealth for Chinese piano music.
