A Study On The Aesthetic Characteristics Of Zheng Banqiao's Painting Practice

Zheng Banqiao is a representative painter of Yangzhou painting school.He is good at painting orchid,bamboo and stone.He is famous for his four unique poems,calligraphy and painting.The formation of Zheng Banqiao's painting style is closely related to his personal circumstances.The fate of Zheng Banqiao is ups and downs.The world interferes with each other and meets each other,forming the artistic creation concept different from others,as well as the aesthetic thought in the painting practice.In the works left by him,we can see from the inscriptions and postscripts of his paintings that Zheng Banqiao has a farsighted view on the nature,creation,development,aesthetic understanding,composition and aesthetic category of Chinese paintings.Zheng Banqiao advocated the idea of "using less to win more" and "using new to win the old" in his painting creation thought.In the practice of painting,it pursues the coexistence of form and technique.It not only embodies the inheritance of tradition,but also shows the strong innovation spirit of painting.His painting style is vigorous,natural and true,which has a far-reaching impact on the time and future generations.Looking at Zheng Banqiao's painting art,the development stage can be roughly divided into three periods.In the early stage,to maintain life-Yangzhou to sell paintings;in the middle stage,to amuse oneself-the period of official career;in the later stage,professional painters-to resign and return home.The middle and later period is an important period for the development of Zheng Banqiao's painting art style and painting aesthetics.This paper is based on the study of the aesthetic thought of Zheng Banqiao's painting practice,which is divided into four chapters.First of all,based on the historical point of view,briefly narrate the "Zheng Banqiao" in the history;secondly,from two angles of personal factors and social factors,analyze the reasons for the formation of Zheng Banqiao's painting style,explore the unique painting aesthetic thought of Zheng Banqiao,and the influence on the formation of the painting style;finally,according to the painting works,this paper summarizes three representative paintings of Zheng Banqiao Aesthetic category: truth,creation and emotion;Qi,ink and spirit;interest,aesthetic proposition content of form and artistic conception.This paper analyzes the unique painting language features of Zheng Banqiao in painting,and shows the unique aesthetic interest in painting works.Therefore,we can see the history from the characters,the culture from the history,the commonness from the culture,and the commonness of Chinese scholars' thinking from Zheng Banqiao's life.
