With the establishment of the China-Africa Cooperation Forum and the implementation of China's "Belt and Road" initiative,China-Africa exchanges have deepened.The deepening of political exchanges affects the way and content of film and television exchanges and cooperation between China and Africa.China's documentaries on African themes have made important contributions to the construction of African image,and have attracted widespread attention from the industry and academia.This article takes the image of Africa in the domestic documentary produced or broadcast by CCTV as the research object,and based on the related research of image theory,aims to explore the way of image writing and the social dynamic mechanism behind the construction.Through textual analysis,this article believes that the image of Africa in CCTV documentaries after the new century has strengthened the positive image of Africa in the public imagination during this period by demaginating the "vocabulary" around development and win-win,ancient and emerging China and Africa break through closed boundaries to understand each other's opportunities.On the other hand,the African image symbol constructed in the film is a reflection of China's presence ideology.The high affirmation of China-Africa cooperation in the documentary can be seen as a propaganda for shaping China's image of a responsible and internationally conscious power;building an image of development and open communication in Africa can be seen as an emphasis on China-Africa cooperation Success.CCTV documentaries deal with the relationship between themselves and Africa through strong identification,which further forms the "hierarchical relationship" and consensus that replaces the conflicting "story plot" between China and Africa.Finally,in a larger perspective,the author explains how the same image is written under different subjects by comparing the differences in African image formation between different creative subjects.Through the above research,the author concludes that in the presentation of the other image of the documentary,out of the realization and transformation of self-culture,the imaginative construction of the other is often accompanied by misunderstanding.However,the communication between cultures will not be interrupted by misunderstanding.The construction of the image of the other will change betweenideology and utopia.What we have to do is to explore the strategies behind the construction of various images and grasp the image construction.Real purpose.In order to establish and enrich Chinese culture's self-confidence,the image of Africa should also keep pace with the times and present new characteristics in the new era.On the one hand,in the context of the world's multiculturalism,we should actively participate in cultural construction and make a Chinese voice.On the other hand,when looking at the development image of China-Africa development in the new era,we should also squarely face the problems and shortcomings of our own development,objectively show the current status of China-Africa development,avoid excessive propaganda,and pay attention to the Chinese Interactive cognition,seeking the intermediary between China and Africa,focusing on the mutual view between the other and the self,and constructing a diverse African image through multiple perspectives.
