Research On Li Chong

Li Chong is a litterateur,cataloger and literary theorist in the Eastern Jin Dynasty.He plays an important role in the literary circle of the Eastern Jin Dynasty and has a certain influence on the literary theory and bibliography after the Eastern Jin Dynasty.Based on the previous research results,this paper tries to make a comprehensive and in-depth study of Li Chong and his academic achievements.This paper includes three parts: introduction,body and conclusion.The introduction part mainly combs the current academic research results of Li Chong,expounds the significance of this topic,and explains the key and difficult points and research methods of this paper.The body part is divided into five chapters,respectively introducing Li Chong's life and family,exploring the content and influence of Li Chong's hanlin theory,interpreting the content and characteristics of Li Chong's poetry,and analyzing the origin and tendency of Li Chong's thought,explain Li Chong's four-part classification and its influence on later generations.Li Chong's career has three stages.Li Ju,Li Chong's father,belongs to the Li family of Jiangxia.Wei Shuo,the mother of Li Chong,belongs to the family of Hedong Wei.The family of Hedong Wei is a family of calligraphers.Most of Li Chong's friends were celebrities at that time.He had contacts with Xie's family centered on Xie An,and with Wang Xizhi,including Sun Chuo,Xu Xun,Zhi Dun,etc.in addition,Li Chong also had close contacts with Wang Dao,Chu Pou and Yin Hao because of his official status.Li Chong's literary treatise Hanlin theory has 13 anonymous articles.By reading these lost articles,we can see that the content of Hanlin theory mainly has three points: first,it discusses the style characteristics and writing requirements of the style with concise language.Secondly,list the authors and their works for examples.Third,study the causes of literary genres.The literary thoughts of Hanlin theory are mainly ‘de yin',‘yi zheng' and ‘yao ji'.Hanlin theory has a certain influence on Wenxin diaolong,which is mainly manifested in three aspects: stylisticdiscrimination method,aesthetic concept and stylistic classification.Li Chong's literary works are few in existence.After collection and research,Li Chong has four existing poems and nine existing articles.The contents of Li Chong's literary works mainly include three points: first,express his experience or feelings in real life.Second,express rational thinking.Third,express the feelings of admiring the ancients.The characteristics of Li Chong's literary works are that they are dignified and reasonable,not yet adorned with algae,introverted to examine and imbued with Xuanfeng,which shows the consistency with the literary standards of Hanlin theory and the Eastern Jin style.Li Chong's thoughts were influenced by the social atmosphere and the style of family and scholar.When most of Li Chong's literary works have been lost,his notes on the Analects of Confucius is the concentrated embodiment of his thought,which advocates actively practicing the social denomination education emphasized by Confucianism to form a better ruling order,showing absolute trust in the Confucian sages and ethics,reflecting the thought of taking Confucianism as the basis and maintaining ethics.In addition,Li Chong also used Confucianism as a way to get the essence of Confucianism and Taoism.He absorbed Confucian political ethics and Taoism's rule of noninterference,and Confucianism and Taoism had a compromise.Li Chong has also made great achievements in bibliography.He established the order of classics,history,Zi and Ji.Although they are not mature and perfect,they also have a far-reaching impact on the history of bibliography.
