So we can get rich history inspiration, lead to the rational reflection on some issues, Prompted us to correctly handle the academic and political relations and emphasis on the methodology of intellectual history and thought of Wang Chong's point of view. We believe that, first; the academic research is concerned about the reality justifiably while academic needs political independence and the free development. Third, we no doubt can be closer to the Essence of Wang Chong when research it from the perspective of intellectual history rather than the perspective of the history of philosophy. Therefore, the analysis on the situation of Wang thought since the founding of New China can not only help us understand the nature of Wang Chong thought, but also do a useful exploration for the development of the basic rules of academic history, help us to grasp academic development law from a higher level and analyze the problem reasoningly.
