| Corneliu Baba is an outstanding portrait painter in Romania and even in the world in the 20 th century.The significance of studying and clarifying the artistic language features of Cornelius Baba’s figure painting is to provide realistic reference for Chinese oil painters’ painting practice.This paper takes the art language of Corneliu Baba’s figure painting as the main research content,analyzes the formation process,development and evolution of the art language of Corneliu Baba’s figure painting and its characteristic value.First of all,from the three aspects of family education,school education and personal choice,this paper combs the formation process and decisive factors of Corneliu Baba’s painting language.Secondly,the evolution of Corneliu Baba’s figure painting is divided into three levels: the eclectic style in the "transformation" period,the figure portrait with clear identity characteristics and the portrait of the unknown person.The relationship between the social and cultural context and the creation of the figure painting is emphatically analyzed.At the same time,by analyzing the creation practice of Corneliu Baba’s figure painting in his later years,the paper combs out the causes and directions of the turning of his painting language.At last,it combs the subject matter,composition,light and shadow color and modeling way of Corneliu Baba’s figure painting works from the form level,and interprets the dramatic,symbolic and metaphorical connotation contained in the art language of Corneliu Baba’s figure painting.Through this study,we can conclude that Corneliu Baba,on the basis of inheriting the western traditional art language,constantly explores and innovates,and realizes the return and Transcendence of the value of the traditional oil painting ontology language.In the context of western modernism culture,Corneliu Baba’s figure painting art language is the reconstruction and reconstruction of the western traditional oil painting ontology language. |
